Teen Center
Friday nights are for hanging out with friends and making new ones.
Teen Center members can come and enjoy dancing to the latest hits, pool, video games, foosball, bumper pool, air hockey, basketball (when available) and much more or just come for conversation. Themed nights are also planned such as MORP, Karaoke night, Beach Blast, Wild West Night, Live Bands, and more. We are always open to your suggestions and ideas.
The Teen Center, part of the Cheraw Parks and Recreation Department, is a fun and safe place for kids to come hang out with friends and enjoy playing games, dancing, and socializing. The Cheraw Teen Center starts registration for students 6th through 8th grades only beginning in August through April. A membership is required in order to attend teen center events. A parent signature is needed also. Parents are asked to serve as chaperones during the year. They can call to volunteer for any event. The membership fees are $5.00 for city residents and $10.00 for county residents. Teen events are held on Friday nights from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. unless advertised otherwise.
