The Town of Cheraw Water Department will be flushing the Town's water system between the hours of 8:00AM and 4:00PM beginning on August 21, 2023 and continuing through August 25, 2023. The purpose of flushing is to remove sediment and deposits from water mains and to maintain water quality. During the flushing period, customers my experience discolored water until the mains have been cleaned. Washing clothes should not be done during this time as staining is possible.
